Running PS2 on LCD

I play my PS2 as much as my PC but when I go to college it's hard for me to play any PS2 games because my roommate is on the TV 24/7. How can I hook up my PS2 to run off my LCD? I can only use VGA because DVI is for my PC. Are there adapters? I googled it but they all seemed expensive and I wasn't sure that what I need. Any input would be great. Thanks!

you need an lcd with tv inputs -- composite, svideo, component, etc. The westinghouse lcd's have these inputs, as do a handful of others by other manufacturers.

do not get a video capture card! well, get one, see how fvcking awful it is, and then return it and start making plans to buy a panel that can handle component inputs natively 🙂

i actually enjoy my capture card, you no longer need a tv, and you can do more than just play games with it, though i do play my ps2, xbox, and wii through it as well as watch cable tv. if you put your comp near a window, you can also get one with a fm reciver and listen to the radio if you feel like it as well.
