I used to know how to do it... you can check which OS style you want to try running programs under when in Win2k. Great for older programs. The question is....
The only way I know to enable legacy applications to run is by applying the "compatws" security template to the local system. This is supposed to allow most legacy applications to run under Win2K which regularly wouldn't. HTH!!!
You can use the appcompat.exe utility on the CD for it, or if you have installed SP1 there is a "compatibility" tab in the properties of the executable you wish to run in Compatibility mode.
