I remember a while back there was a big thing about running out of space in landfills. Next time we are at war Why don't we just ship it over and dump it?

I could just see it now. B-52s loaded up with tons of stinking garbage bags dropping them over various cities.

But seriously, when the war starts and we win some ground, why don't we just dump all our garbage there and when its over just leave it there.

War is against a government, not a people.

We often help societies rebuild after war with them (think Japan), dumping garbage on them goes against everything we stand for.

I know you are being silly, but, that said, I work in the environmental waste services industry and the "running out of space in landfills" is bunk and a myth. Some of our landfills have a hundred years left to them.

While we are at it let's ship all our raw sewage over there and dump it all over their cities after we bomb them. Huge piles of stinky crap all over the rubble would make it unbearable to rebuild for awhile.

because it'd be cheaper just to use another landfill than carting garbage overseas.

besides, if we started to use a garbage dumping tactic, we might be supplying them with more supplies. I think I remember a story about a guy who set up xmas lights outside his home instead of feeding his family in the HOPE that it would be bombed because the scrap metal from the bomb shards was worth more than what the xmas lights and electricity cost him. I think it worked too.

Are you going to want to take responsibility for the the plane that was shot down and pilot dead for the sake of dumping garbage on a country?

we won't be dropping recycleable material and scrap material on them. I'm talking about dirty dipers, 1/2 eaten rotten moldy food, and used condom type things.

we pay poor countries to take some of our trash. Pay them pennies.

US government would love to split the load of trash and soldiers to war country.
