This forum is my last resort. I have one DB application which also includes a scheduling module, is installed on one of the two XP crossover networked computer. Can I run this application on both computers and keep live synchronization? Please help.

Welcome to the forum. I'll try to help.

More information would really help out like what is the DB application, is it real-time, what is the scheduling module and how does it work, what is the front-end?

If there is a database and a front-end application then you needn't be concerned. The database will run on one machine and both machines use the front-end app.

You could try windows XP "remote desktop". Which essentially allows one xp box to use a desktop and apps from another machine.

Hi:
This DB keeps patients info etc and part of the program includes patient scheduling module. So you can schedule Pt for next visit or search any Pt's next visit. Therefore both running computes must have synchronized appointments other one can not know if the slot is available or not. For this reason I thought I need to keep application on one computer. If Ineed to install on both comps, then how do I synchronize them, I won't know how the files will be updated. Some one suggested using PC anywhere but these computers are 10ft apart on two individuals desk. I have feeling there has to be better way than PC anywhere(which I have not tried yet).
Thanks
