Running old Bios 1011 for Asus A8n sli deluxe. Should I update it?

Hi all,

I had bought this board a while ago from Chief Value as a refurb. I just threw an Opteron 148 in it and it is running great at 11x 250 at 1.4 volts but the ram divider is underclocking the ram slightly. (Running at 196 mhz instead of 208mhz) with the 166 divider

Anybody know if any other bios would be better to run the Opteron?

You know usual rule of thumb for flashing...only do it if you *need* the fix that the newer BIOS offers. Provided you're not running a RAID array off the board (which a BIOS flash would mess up for you...). Myself, running 1016 on that board with no problem - haven't noted any RAM divider issues, but can't say I've really pushed the RAM in my other machine.
