i'm newbie to command line

Let's summarize, since the first link doesn't show the correct answer until several posts down.

Install it as a service with: sobsvc -i
and set 2 processes like so: sobsvc -p:2
Now, stop and exit the Seventeen or Bust client.
Then, restart it either from the Services console, or with the command: net start "seventeen or bust service"

I would modify this to:

Uncheck 'automatically start on boot' in the Seventeen or Bust client
Now, stop and exit the Seventeen or Bust client.
Open a command prompt and navigate to where SB is installed (so probably C:\Program Files\SB)
Install it as a service with: sobsvc -i
and set 2 processes like so: sobsvc -p:2

If you really are totally clueless with the command prompt, here's what you type to get to the SB directory 😛
