Running Macros in MSWord

Hello hopefully helpful humans,

I made a macro using VBA in MSWord. What I need is for this macro to be run everytime I create a new document from this template I made. I know there is a way to do this, but I can't quite get it to work right. Googling and MSDN produced way to many non relevant results to be of much help.

switch your macro to normal.dot

Nah... I'm making this template of a quote form for garage doors and garage doors accesories. The macro has to load some things from a database onto the form when a new quote document is created.

yo BennyD, I copied to macro, but it doesn't run when i create a new document from the template. I know it can be done cause like CR said ppl make virii this way.
