Running in the snow > *

Damn that was fun... yet very hard 🙁

Running in the snow rocks... you guys should try it if you're one of those people who bitch about aches and pains from running.

some tips.

my feet are cold .

Uhg. That's not that fun. So much extra motion in your feet and ankles that you normally don't have.

Certainly makes for sore shins and connective tissues in your lower legs and feet.

yeah but its much easier on the joints than concrete.

running in actual snow is a killer workout; your feet slip so much and you have to use your stabilizer muscles much more. Back in high school my track coach would make us run through a field with about 2 feet of snow for an hour. After 30 minutes your quads and hamstrings would be burning, towards the end it would be almost impossible to lift your feet up. Ahh, I miss that 😀

It's not all that fun because you can easily slip and fall while running.

It actually doesnt seem that easy to slip. For one, its fresh snow, so there was no ice underneath, and there was enough snow to break soften the landing of your feet.
