Running homebrew in a PSP for noobs

Barfo

Lifer
So I got myself an original PSP with a 3.73 firmware. What would be the easiest way to run homebrew apps in it?

After 2 minutes on google I found that you need to downgrade the firmware to something hackable, then go from there. I suggest you keep googling as the answers are there and will be found much faster than waiting here.

Try this NeoGAF thread for a great option since it requires no hacks or custom firmware patches, but I don't know if your FW will accommodate it. You'll need to patch it to at least 6.20 (a link is there in the thread). It works fine on all PSPs including the 3000.
