I am looking for an alternative to the MEE around the air headphones for running. I really like the MEE's for the last couple years but they never last more than a few months till one of the ears go out.

MEE are comfortable, lightweight, fit well and sound decent. They are the top recommended on Head-fi but I want to try something different with the same qualities, a bit better sound.

I tried the Jay birds and wow were they horrible, I do not want a blue tooth set that dies after a few hours, and is uncomfortable as hell. What a pia to charge, sync, then they die an hour in.

Check out hte Sennheiser/Adidas line:

Sound is very good. I had a problem with the wires after time though. I blame running with my smartp[hone in my pocket. The constant jerking around broke the wire and eventually the headphone jack.

Get an arm band!

Mine are like the 685s

I have an old pair of the 685i's hate them. Sound is muddled and the fins didn't always stay in the ear. At the time, the most expensive earbuds that I've purchased for running. Only pluses have been that they have been durable and the iPhone controls was nice to have.

Current earbuds and I love them - http://yurbuds.com/products/performance-fit/inspire-duro/

They fit and haven't ever come close to coming out. They surprisingly have good sound yet still allow you to hear outside noise. The woven cloth cord appears to be more durable and tangles less than the standard cords.
