running generic RAM at CAS 2-2-2....and no problems. Is it because...

it's only running at 112MHz?????...is it harder to get PC133 running at CAS 2-2-2 because of
the higher frequency its run at?...

I have 3 dimms - two 32MB generic (one single sided, one double), and one 64MB generic (single sided)
rated PC100 @ 112 (fsb)...and no problems

Athlon Classic 700@784
Asus K7M
128MB PC100 generic
Asus V6600 Geforce SDR @ 150vcore, 200mem (det. 6.49)
Diamond MX300 (vortex 2 reference - EAX&A3D!)

i have a damn good feeling that nobody will reply to this...
since it's not about the latest video card/cpu....

saddened.
but i still have my dignity....just keep this msg on type (inner-narrator).

It is not BECAUSE it's only running at 112MHz that it works. Some generic PC100 CAS3 ram won't run at CAS2 at any speed.

However, it IS easier to run it at 112MHz CAS2 than at 133MHz CAS2, so the low bus speed really does help.... hope that makes sense :)

Well... my generic PC100 ran at 2-2-2, it goes up to 125MHz 3-3-3, typical for -8ns rated RAMs.

it makes sense - that's actually what i meant - it's easier to run it at CAS2 because lower frequency..

one thing that doesn't make sense is that little Cartesian lingo u have going at the bottom...
why presuppose a thinker?...
I think, therefore thought...actually that sentences presupposes a thinker ('I').....

so, really, 'think, therefore thought' would be better....

everything is just thought - without a thinker???...possible...
the I is definitely as dubious as everything else he considered dubious.
