thanks to some ill times bad luck and a little ingenius repair work, i now have dual screens.

my viewsonic vx910 gaming lcd went bad, and (being just 2 months out of warranty), viewsonic tech support wouldnt help me, so i called several tv repair places, none of them wanted to fix it. So i ordered a new vx922.
then I found on viewsonics web store you can buy and replace your own parts... so I fixed my vx910... and now I got dual screens...

Yay!!! I can't stand working on just one screen. Things just get too cluttered.

I just got a 19" widescreen LCD in today and I'm gonna have to order another soon for my new comp.

But beside that I've got a quad screen system.

One monitor sucks ass.

been running dual 20" samsung for a couple months now. Soo much retail space. I dunno how i did with 1 screen before. But how do you stretch a game across both screens like that?

Failed at:
Sid Meiers Pirates, Sid Meiers Simgolf, Starfleet command 2/Op/3.

I just need to bite the bullet on the 3007 to make it... and then a new dual-link DVI videocard... and a new motherboard... and a new CPU... and everything else... :(

Ok, maybe I wont do it

My gf is such a nerd. I had switched from Dualview to Horozontal span to get RA2 to span and after I got back to the windows desktop, she noticed my task bar icons were on a different monitor corner :p

I had dualies before they're nice however I didn't use them enough to justify the cost so I sold off the 2405fpw kept the 2005fpw. It's been good enough for me.

duals are awsome. I switched over to a dual setup a few months ago and will never go back.

running a dell 2405fpw next to a hyundai l90d+, love it.

Can't stand dual screens. Rather go for a single large one, if I needed the space.

Personally, I find that the more space I have, the more windows I open and get distracted. I get far more coding done on a 13" laptop display than a 24" wide panel ;)

you must have photographic memory or you work on small projects. Personally I get the most coding done with 3 screens. 1 web browser, 2 code screens. With 2500+ code files it's best to have multiple files open at once.

Dual screens look nice, but I really don't think I'd be able to handle the black bar down the middle. Something OCD inside me squirms when I see that.
