Running CAT5e and RG6 next to each other?

Compression fittings can be screwed up just as easy as a crimp. If you over compress them they are secure, but usually not water-tight anymore.

In any method, without a cable test post-termination; there is no way to tell if you are good.

I pulled 3 Monoprice cat6 to every room, also a single Walmart quad shield RG6 to 2 rooms. They were all pulled together. The only problem I had was running the cat6 behind/near the main power breaker box in the garage, nearby power lines borked the cat6 signals, didn't help cable either. When I pulled a temp cables inside all my problems disappeared so I moved the cables in the main TV room to the opposite inside wall.

For the first time in 8 years I can actually watch the channels I pay for on Comcast, finally seeing HBO almost brought tears to my eyes.
