Please let me know if this possible. Networking not my expertise, how to connect internet to something downstairs, preferably without wifi and powerline adapters.

Could this work if 1 ethernet outlet on each floor. Then router connects to ethernet outlet upstairs
and android box use ethernet into outlet downstairs like so

Yes, that will work. you can even throw a switch off the downstairs outlet for more ports.

Ty! Just want to make sure, i suppose any ethernet outlet work? Im just looking to install very basic one

There's a few catches.

1. If you will be using keystones (aka punchdowns) then get solid core (aka riser) cable to make the in wall run

2. If you will just use a female to female coupler, then stranded cable (aka patch cable) is fine.

dont even bother, post the model. if you don't know, chances are it is.
