On my new AMD 64 system (3000+ running @ 2,21Ghz) I'm running Seti as well as United Devices at the same time.
When I check Task Manager, both are at ~50% cpu power.. The weird thing is, a Seti wu still takes about 2hrs to complete!
I checked the seti times from 30 wu's, first 10 without UD running and the last 20 with UD running, there isn't a minute difference between those cpu times..
Double checked it with Seti Spy which says that the instantaneous performance is about 48%/hour..
The UD client also completes a wu in a normal time, even the rating is staying normal while it benchmarks the cpu!
(UD counts in points given to different parts of the system like cpu, memory, HD space and internet connection)
Because the client runs @ 50% I should expect a drop of 50% in the score but it doesn't..
Anyone know whats happening?? I don't have HyperThreading on my AMD
but it sure looks like it!
