A week ago I tried to install windows 2000.
For some strange reason all I got was the blue screen of death. After a serious investigation I figured that lowering the Cpu speed to 500 Mhz (from 667 Mhz) and the FSB to 100 Mhz (from 133 Mhz) solved the problem. Since I want to run my system at full speed I would like to know if any of you had any problems with similair configurations (especially the slocket and MOBO).
My System Specs:
PIII 667 MHz 133 FSB
128 MB 133 Mhz
Asus p3v4x MOBO
Gigabyte GA-6R7+ Slocket
BTW: Windows 98 works fine for any configuration
