Running another OS on Virtual PC

I am using Vista x32 and installed the latest VPC from Microsoft and installed Server '03 enterprise to do some testing since I am getting rid of a dedicated server for a little bit.

How limited of functionability am I going to be when I am running it. For example could I still run a web server, ftp, exchange server setup and it still be avaivable for viewing to outsiders?

I mainly use it for testing AD scripts or custom users, so i would really like to conenct to it via the network.

Or would I be better off spending the 90 bucks for a 120-160Gb hd and dual booting/partitions ?

You're really only limited by the performance of the host machine. You can certainly do all the things you list above, it's just a question of how performant it will be running in a VM. Exchange especially.

Ok, yea i was wondering how bad performance if i was uisng VM instead of just actually booting, but its not like i'm doing anything on both at the same time, its one or the other.
