Running AGP still...

x1950pro has an AGP SKU and is the highest performing AGP card on the market, price is however somewhere between $200-250, but it's a good deal faster than either the 7800gs and the x850xt

Have you considered a 7600GS? It's fairly cheap and should perform better than the 6800XT. Reasonable game performance at lowish resolutions (1024x768). IMO it's better to fork out a bit more and get a x1950pro AGP - but only if you game on the PC, or it's totally wasted!
 
No, power wont be an issue for the X850 Pro. Its basically the same card as the X800 Pro. I had a X800Pro and ran it perfectly for over a year on a 218 watt Bestec power supply. You will be fine

Yeah, and the X850 PRO will demolish the 6800XT.
