Running Accelero X2 video card cooling fan at 100% all the time. Any problem with doing this?

I just put the Accelero X2 cooler on my new X1900XTX video card. I downloaded ATI tool so that I could control the fan speed on the cooler.

I would like to set the fan speed to run at 100% all the time. Is there a problem with doing this? The fan is very quiet at 100% - I don't even hear it. Will I wear the fan/motor out quicker if it is going at 100% all the time?

Thanks in advance !!

I would leave at 100% if you still can't hear it, your card runs cooler. There shouldn't be a problem with the fan wearing out, and even if it does (which would probably take several years) you have a 6 year warranty.

Is there a way to run the Accelero at 100% without having to use Atitool to control the fan speed? Like is there a registry setting for the fan speed?
