I know this can be done. Should I put thermal past between the heatsink and the cpu? Do I put the click on the heatsink really tight?

Yes, put thermal paste between it. Make sure you get all the HS hooks connected. Don't put the heatsink on too tight.

It can be done. Almost all the OEM Pentium systems I've seen didn't have fans on the processor. Just put a big heatsink on it, and have good case ventilation. A 80mm intake fan blowing on it should be more than enough.

200mmx !

Well I had one before and didn't need any fan to cool either on HS or Case.
If you don't OC, then you prolly don't need anything but it's do-able.

I do and have run the P166s (clocked to a whopping 200-180) w/o fans. The IBM had a pretty large finned heat sink that already comes with thermal past, unsure if its any good. This machine runs w/o processor cooling and without power supply cooling (the PS fan quit running long ago and it never seemed to make a difference). I may be asking for trouble, but it never seems to get very warm.
