Running a DVD Player on AV vs CVI

How big of a difference is there for picture quality? The back of my TV only has one set of Component Inputs (which are being used by the Cable Box), so I want to know whether it's worth having to attach, reattach the cable components between the two each time I want to watch a DVD.

What are your other alternatives?

How big is your TV? HD or SD?

You could just get a component switch, but depending on your components it might not be worth the extra money vs just using s-video.
