i've asked before and got very general answers, and lots of maybe's and should-be's, this time i need to know.

i am setting up a CAD workstation for my boss, what i'd like to do is have an SLI motherboard and two nVidia vidcards running 1x 2405FPW and 2x 1704FPV screens.

i want both the 17" screens tilted 90 degrees so they are in portrait mode, with one flanking either side of the 24" widescreen.

therefore it will be:
(1024x1280) + (1920x1200) + (1024x1280)

can i do this in XP with either the windows utility or the nVidia nView driver?

because of the disparate resolutions the horizontal-span mode cannot be used, rather it must be the dual-view mode, but obviously in triple view mode if such a thing is possible.........?

someone must have tried it, i need a definite answer.

cheers

you can do horizontal span with different resolutions. i have done it with 2 different monitors, i dont see why it wouldnt work with 3.
