Running 100' of network cable for camera, which to buy?

I need to run a 100' of network cable for a HD security camera. It's going to run through the garage attic, down a wall near some electrical cables, (not sure how close yet) that runs from the connected garage down into the basement and to my switch. The cable will also be running PoE.

Recommendations?

I was looking at this: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/prod...one_cat6_a100w_cat6_snagless_patch_cable.html

or https://www.bestbuy.com/site/insignia-100-cat-6-network-cable-gray/4837002.p?skuId=4837002

Any other suggestions? Thank you,

For a run that long I would do it properly through the patch panel, treat it like a normal drop. Ex: riser rated cable with keystone and patch cables to connect equipment.

I would not worry TOO much about running near electrical but try to avoid it as best as you can and only run it perpendicular if you have to. Don't run it alongside.

I don't want STP as I am not confident enough to ground it, etc. I do have a patch panel but was planning on by passing that due to the PoE injector as my switch is not capable.

No one in a home setting should generally be using STP. There's not nearly enough electromagnetic interference from home sources to cause an issue in the sort of runs being discussed here.

But I am absolutely in favor of solid core cable in some sort of termination. Whether you use a single outlet punchdown, or a patch panel. There will be less voltage loss. If you're using PoE you should definitely be using solid core cable on proper punch downs for any sort of meaningful distance.

Unless you want to go through the pain of re-running it every time there's a bit of an issue or change in your home, I would patch it down or at least punch it down in jacks on each side.

Maybe its just me but I hate the bulb shaped jacket on some "snagless" RJ45 like the first link and I prefer the tab like the BB link. You can get this for much less BTW.
