RUNNERS: Armbands for smartphones ....

I need to buy an armband. I was wondering people here use them for running.

With all the different smartphones makes/models. I guess I need to ask:
1) What should I look for?
2) If you like yours, what brand is it?

FWIW I thought an arm band was a good idea when I first started runinning with my iPhone. I hated it. I just keep it in my pocket now.

I use one made by Yurbuds, has the Ironman logo on it. It's made of neoprene and it's fairly rain proof. I like it.

Waist band with a bluetooth ear piece is the way to go. Armband might work for a tiny iPod/MP3 stick but not much else. Weight and safety are my other concerns for not using an armband.

I bought a new iPod nano, because i did not want to get a shoulder harness to try to run with my Note 2 lmao.

I may look into so bluetooth headphones for it though.

Any good bluetooth ones anyone can recommend?

I use the Phiaton PS20BT headset which has amazingly good sound, but it has an annoying microphone fob. I bought my wife a set of Jaybird Freedoms and they are pretty good. No fob, decent battery life, a sweat proof guarantee. The earpieces are a bit large but they seem to stay put.
