I know this game's been out for like... five years and stuff. But I had never heard of it until last week, and I'm hooked!

I wonder who else here currently plays the game. It would be cool to form, like, a network of ATOT runescapers to trade and quest with. I am still amazed at how much there is to this game. I find it very remarkable and addicting. This only proves that it's not always graphics that make a game great. (At least for me).

So I've only been at it for a week, but I've already spent too much time each day playing. My character is now at lvl 30 and climbing fast, but I've only done like 2 quests. Still learning the in's and out's of this game.
 
Ohh... I only played that game for about 5 minutes so I know very little about it. I do know that Runescape has similarities to Diablo/Morrowind/Norrath titles in that it's a questing/item finding/combat type adventure game. I've heard BG2 compared to Norrath hundreds of times, if that helps.

been playing for over a year...
not too many other aters who play this game, they're all to busy paying for WOW.
 
I guess there aren't too many ATOT'ers on Runescape... but for those that are, my name there is "malkranger". I am able to use member servers.

God on Alcohol, I'll gladly take anything you no longer need! RIght now I'm trying to earn some $$ by stealing silk from the stall and then selling it to the silk buyer. I made like $10K in an hour last night, so I'll do more of that tonight as well. I'm currently still clad in steel armor tho.
 
i am too poor for a members account and only played f2p. i got to lvl 43 when my friends all played it in 6th grade. then was bored, came back, got to lvl 59 full rune, and quit again. it's kinda boring. if u want i can give u free stuff. pm me and we'll see.

You're a member and you only made 10k/hour?
Apparently the best way to make money is pick flacks(I think that is what they are called 😕 ) and then sell them to people who are too lazy..

you have to make them into bow strings first... then sell them.
but 1k bowstrings is only 150k.

Yup.. as I said I have only played for a week and I hardly know anything about how to make money. I did try making bowstrings though, but i need crafting level of 10. Right now it's still at 1.

Baldur's Gate II looks awesome. Runescape is ugly. Baldur's Gate II has a lot of customization, many unique skills, and hundreds of cool weapons. Runescape is uninspired in both plot and gameplay. Baldur's Gate II has more to it than fishing a billion sharks. Runescape doesn't.

I doubt it.
