Just a basic question, does anyone play this game? Anyone got any tips on combat, moneymaking... anything. Are you a member or not, high level or not.

I've played for a while and it's good fun when there's nothing to do.

Please no replies with things like you are a loser for playing, or get outside. Surely we can have a civilized discussion about an online game.

Maybe if there's a lot of people who play we can have an ATOT meeting or something.

2 of my boys, ages 12 & 14, and their circle of friends, are really into Runescape.
They all play online together.
Interfers w/ homework.

Good cheap alternative to the more popular MMPORGs. I had a friend that use to play quite a lot and I would play with his character from time to time. From what I know, you really wanna keep your combat character "pure" meaning no ranged, no magic no prayer etc(im not sure if those are the right terminology). As far as moneymaking goes, i actually use to do this for my friend when i was bored, you can buy coal from miners at 100 a piece. Then sell them as certs for 1000 a cert which equates to 200 an ore, which basically doubles your money. I'm not sure if this kind of economy is still around. Other than that, if you can hammer out a full rune set you're gonna make some fast $$$ 🙂
