Rogue,Mage,Priest,Knight,Warrior,Scout are the classes,so probably Mage for you ,however Priest has some offensive casting spells even as primary healer class.

They are going to add two new classes ie .. Druid and RuneDancer at some point down the road .

Scout is more range (so bow range class),rogue is close combat melee high DPS.

Remember you can duel class , Scout/Rogue or Rogue/ Scout is very popular.

Rogues are specialists in inflicting particular physical damage. In close range they use dagger techniques and ranged weapons for long range attacks.

In contrast to warriors and rangers they whole-heartedly rely on their malicious methods, like secret sneak attacks, poison and various techniques inflicting bleeding wounds.

The only thing on a rogue?s mind while attacking is to swiftly strike with amazing precision.

Scouts are masters in long range combat, and use their abilities to bring their bow and crossbow skills to perfection.

In close combat they depend on evasion and delaying tactics, to get into range for another shot or to wait for reinforcements who feel more at home in close range combat.

Specially boosted long range attacks can defeat opponents in a matter of seconds or at least weaken them in such a way, that they become easy prey in close combat. This is the area where scouts have to prevent their enemy?s attacks.

With their exceptional perception they can even find hidden foes from a safe distance, which makes them the natural adversaries of rogues.

Dexterity and intelligence are essential traits of scouts. Cleverly taking advantage of the physical distance is critical and every single decision has to be well thought out.

ok so rogues are rogues but scouts are rangers. why didn't they just call them rangers? LOL

Depends how much grinding you do like any MMORPG,I like the instances now and then and helping out the low level players with their end boss quests,I try to vary my playing experience by doing different things,now if you grind all the time its going to be hell.

Another note is some classes are more fun then others.

You guys do any transmuting yet? Expensive to get those 12 slots filled for an item, but well worth it! Need a lot of gold and luck to get the stats you want on your item.

check out the Auction halls for power stones some ppl are selling some a triple identical stones for 10-15(x3) so u can use them and get a bunch of yellows stats..so how many ROM AT players are there? we should make a guild.. but need 10-15+...

I made another alt,Knight/Priest combo or Priest/Knight depending how you look at it and its pretty fun,always asked in groups and never refused,I can play as tank or healer.

Level 19k/18P at the moment but its great helping out low level players and you always get those high level players helping you out with some of those tough end bosses.

I did the barren caves instance( one with the worm mobs) and there was only 3 of us and no healer lol(I was playing knight so tank, was about level 14 I think) anyway we had like good 5-8 min fight and we all survived.

Anyone have a list of what the crafters can make? I'm looking for some good plate gear for my knight, and was wondering what I will be able to make as an armor crafter or blacksmither.

Mem, Knight is pretty fun huh? I love playing tank, hit 2000+ HP at level 24 (buffed by priest and knight buffs). Many on the forums are saying that knight is broken, but I'm not seeing it.

Seems ok to me,I think I get my plate armour at 25 level, I really like Priest health regen and Knight Armour buff in a fight, you can use them on either as primary.

Yes, but my Rogue/Scout will just run away and shower you with arrows, then hide and backstab and blind you. And so on and so forth. Just need another 2 levels then I can use the other bow from the auction (don't remember, but it's great.)

Bit hard to do on a PvE server ,reason I made this alt was to help out groups,always need healers or tanks,more needed then scout/rogue.

As to PvP well after 1000+ kills in Warhammer you just get bored(like I did) with player kills after awhile,I rather do an instance etc... help out a group,lot more fun IMHO.

Well pvp is a bit broken since you can drop items when you get killed, even if you are level 15 when you first can be targeted and the other character is a level 50.

It's supposed to be a 10 level cap on that but it's not working and even a 10 level cap is somewhat high.

Not to mention a bunch of exploits of people trading bound items through the pvp system and with no server wipe I have a feeling things will get nasty if they don't fix that.

Otherwise it's a fun game but I cannot wait for the cash shop so I can buy the diamonds from other players so I can get more inventory room.

This game sounds cool. Why spend $15/month on Wow when I could spend $15'month on good items?

Anyone on Krynn want to do bloody gallery (galley?) tonight? Even as a priest/knight I have issues finding groups . I've only done one FA run through and it was smooth, although I long for the modding ability of WoW's ui.

I tried downloading this game last night. That website is the most convoluded piece of crap ever. ALL of their links to download the installer go to other sites where the installer is supposedly hosted, and ALL of them return a 404 that the installer is no longer available or never existed in the first place.

??????...iIjust tried a new download here@Gamershell ETA 55mins so no idea what you on about ,took me 5 secs to get a download link going at 1.1MB/sec.

I guess I'll try again tonight. I went down the entire list and got 404's for each individual site.
