Runaway cart on field hits staff at Texas stadium

Did they ever determine how this happened?

Yeah, it's not like the cart was rolling off a cliff or into a brick wall. He pretty much has control over the steering and then bailed.

The only thing I can think of is that he did see the other guy coming up to get on and he decided to roll off to make room for that guy. A big maybe on that one........
