Run-time error '6': overflow keeps popping up on my desktop.

Keep gettins a little window popup reporting run-time error '6': overflow, dosen't seem to affect anything. I close the little window down and a few hours later it appears again!

What's up with that?

What program is reporting that? It reminds me of the divide-by-zero or overflow errors that programs written to use the Borland Turbo Pascal or early Delpi runtimes generated, when run on CPUs faster than a certain speed. (Software timing loop overflow issues.)

Really hard to guess without knowing what all processes are running on your system. Next time it happens, before you click to dismiss it, can you run tasklist.exe and update the thread?
