How did I miss this movie? Oh my God...It kicks so much ass! It's in German with Englsh subtitles, and stars Franka Potente, the girl from the Bourne Identity.

Very cool story...surreal camera work, and GREAT acting..

Basically this girl has 20 minutes to find $100,000 in the city or her boyfriend will be killed by a drug dealer.....It has three different endings showing what would happen if something is changed very slightly at the beginning of the story. The difference of leaving the house a few seconds early or late has a dramatic effect on the outcome. And the way the plot unfolds reveals more about the story and characters each time.. Its impossible to describe but it farking Pwnz!

Pulp Fiction + Crank + GO + Butterfly Effect + Snatch + awesome pacing and music + terrific acting = GO RENT IT ASAP! You won't regret it.

Fantastic film. I love the cinematography in it. It's a bit far-fetched what with the "re-living" and all....but i still dub it as one of my top 5 films of all time.

Fun fact: Franka Potente dubs her own voice in the english-dubbed version...makes dubbing much better (although subtitles are still my favorite)
 
I wasn't that impressed when I saw it, regardless of that you are not making a great case for the movie by comparing it to crank.

great movie, not my favorite ever, but glad you liked it. Makes me want to go gamble everytime I watch.
 
awesome movie, had to love the imagery and the way she portrayed that character was just awesome, and that scream!!! hehe
 
it was meh.

I think pretty much the entire point of the movie was 'Techno music comes on when cool stuff happens in Germany.'

 
I loved this movie back in the day, as a matter of fact it's right next to my desk right now on the shelf. I think I might watch it again soon.
 
Good movie, but not great. I liked it enough to consider tykwer's next film without knowing much about it, but i'd hardly call it the "best movie I've ever seen".

Franke Potente is really sexy.

It's much better than crank, go, butterfly effect, or snatch though. Not as good as pulp fiction.
 
I thought it was garbage...in 1999.

OP, did you just see it on HDNET movies last night? I watched the first few minutes and I was reminded of how amateur and uninteresting the film is.

Because it shows lots of different variations of what she could do in those 20 minutes.
