Was in the bookstore with my gf over the weekend and saw this book, and immediately bought it (even though it's $10 cheaper through Amazon and $15 cheaper if I got it on her Kindle). Dean has been an inspiration for me as I'm sure he has been for some others on here as well. It isn't the same as his other books, but is good for it's own reasons.
For me, it brought out many emotions through the course of the book as experience through Dean's experiences. From laughter, to joy, to sadness, to triumph, to a flurry of other emotions. He layed it out in "chapters" that are corresponding to the mile markers of a marathon. I can imagine the emotional response the book had for me will be once again be felt when I finally cross the finish line of my first marathon.
It's a fairly short and easy read (about 5 hours for me), but worth every second of it. It has many stories which runners can relate to. If you have some spare cash and want something that is an enjoyable and easy read (even an inspiring one), I'd suggest picking it up.
