Run As Administrator

After installing the latest Nero 7.8.5.0, I am getting an error when I run it unless I run as administrator. Is there anyway to set run as administrator as the default so it doesn't have to be selected all the time? Would turning UAC off help?

I forget exactly the error (meant to write it down last night) but Nero opens but keeps displaying an error message over and over.

That should work fine.

Don't disable UAC for this. Nero is using a filesystem filter driver in much the same way that rootkits often do. The UAC prompt for Nero isn't a big deal but if you suddenly get one someday when you didn't take any action you'll be glad you have it on.

yeah, setting it up correctly using Nero burn rights would be a much better idea.

I was not aware there was a control panel for this, I was just answering his question on how to run something as admin all the time. If this is the appropriate way to fix the problem, by all means the OP should do so!

It wasn't the burn rights. It was already set for everyone and my other choice was nobody. The other choices were greyed out.

I just set nero to run as administrator always.

The exact error was "Could not get the class ID". It was displayed in a window titled BCGPOleAcc.
