One or the other?

I'd probably choose run. Fastest man on earth!

What say you?

If you fly upwards at 10MPH then fly back down, terminal velocity alone will get you to about 120-125MPH.

In this fictitious example of being able to fly, what exactly allows us to stop... other than the ground? :p

I'd say flying, and the best thing you could do is become The Rocketeer and equip yourself with something to augment your speed where your 10 MPH flying becomes your initial flight and control capability.

Would i get speeding tickets for running 100mph? Would i get tired? Flying is awesome, but at 10mph pretty useless. Running sucks, but at 100mph would be awesome if it came with some other perks.

Assuming I don't die from exhustion, run. I can run on water if I can go at 100mph.

Is that a 100mph long distance or sprint?

If I could run 100mph with as much effort as it takes to walk 3mph, then I'd take running at 100mph as it would be useful for traveling and I could capitalize on it and become a professional bank robber.

If it was only 100mph for sprinting, then I would rather be able to fly slowly as flight is cooler than running.

Without any other knowledge, I'm going to assume that both tasks are considered equal in effort... and should also be considered equal in effort to how sprinting at our current max speed already is. So my out of shape ass wouldn't be able to run at 100mph or fly at 10mph for very long. So given that, flying doesn't seem to be that useful.

Fly. If you have bad traffic or live in the mountains (like me) you can get to your destination faster. You can also have a lot of fun with your enemies :whiste:

fly... my commute to work would be hella easy if I could just fly across the Hudson River and bypass the subway.

Fly. Imagine the millions you could make playing sports. Football they could just hand it off to you and then you just fly into the end zone. It would be pretty easy to block extra points and field goals. Basketball would be lob city every play. In fact, technically, you could make every shot a 3 pointer as long as you take off from behind the 3 point line.

Granted, running 100MPH would be advantageous in its own way as well, but there is potential for more contact, and its not clear how this running works. If it requires no real effort and you can move in all directions just as fast like The Flash then it would be a harder decision, but I think you could impress more chicks by doing the Superman fly them around the city thing.

Fly, absolutely. Lots of stuff can catch you running 100 mph. Very few things can catch you flying 10 mph, at least very few things that would try.
