Feral camel attacks eh? Did not see that one coming.

So, the plan is to herd them with helicopters and then execute them? Why not just shoot them as one finds them? It is a town of 350 people, it cannot be so densely populated to the point that it might be too risky. Or do they have laws against discharging firearms within the city limits?

Local Government Minister Rob Knight said the town in the Northern Territory, with a population of just 350, was under siege from 6,000 marauding camels.

It's cavalry vs tank all over again.

I love how they call them "feral camels." The connotations reflect 'vermin' as opposed to 'wild' which stirs up the 'must protect' emotions. How about an open hunting season on camels? You're telling me that a bunch of Australian's in the outback don't have guns and BBQ pits? It's a festival in the making! We're talkin' "bulk" BBQ!

Fricken pansy assed Australians, maybe we should send them a few Texans!

Nobody really cares because nobody really lives in the outback/northern territory. This didn't even make the news.
