Rumored earthquake coming in Socal?

my grandpa is tellin me how there's gonna be an earthquake most likely by tomorrow (sunday). my friend's mom said the same thing, which she heard on the radio. what makes me very skeptical and think that the sources are full of crap is that they're both from a chinese newspaper and chinese radio station .

so any more reputable sources talk about an upcoming earthquake in the extremely near future?

Some Russian scientist has predicted that there will be an Earthquake "no later than the fifth". He used some combination of crap to come to the conclusions.

I guess the team has been somewhat successful at predicting earthquakes in the past, so some people believe him..

I guess we'll see tomorrow.

he's most likely right. being able to feel the earthquake might depend on the strength of it. but there being an earthquake near LA would sound reasonable- considering they occur all the time.

He predicted the earthquake would be at least 6.5, and he also sucessfully predicted two other earthquakes recently.

so the guy was right two other times. he almost got it right this time, a few weeks ago there was a 5.4 earthquake in SD but the guy predicted 6.5 or above so technically he's like 1/10th right
