YMMV.

Are those nasty pirates orchestrating their revenge after Nintendo sunk their chips earlier this week? According to a posting on NeoGAF, an unsavory EB Games employee decided to take the contents of an in-store Super Mario Galaxy demo disc and share it with the online world. Though the demo is usually constrained by a 10-minute time limit, the disc reportedly contains the full game and is fully accessible through use of a modified Wii console. As the pirate site offering the code isn't specified or linked to, it's difficult to verify whether or not Mario's currently making his way down some shady pipes.

We contacted a Nintendo spokesperson for confirmation, only to be informed that we were the first to alert them of the development. Note that in the event of the rumor being true, posting of download links or impressions in the comments sections will be met with permanent bans and disapproving glares.

I've found absolutely zero confirmation of anyone actually playing the thing outside of a gamestop kiosk, and quite a bit of people who are calling hoax on it. It doesnt appear to be on any torrent sites.

ya newsgroups and torrents are showin' nada... this would be everywhere if true.

It was leaked. But those two Japanese guys in the Wii commercials famous for saying "Would you like to play?" aren't so polite in real life. In reality, they are under cover ninja's that hunt down pirates and strangle them with the Wii nunchuk cord.
If you steal the intellectual rights from Nintendo, and you see a cute little white and blue car the size of a golf cart parked on your street, head for the hills.

So that's why the nunchuck isn't wireless..

And why in the commercials they always drive off to the hills in the sunset....

wow, so its true? first the title thing and now this? man there sure are a lot of disgruntled/lazy/incompetant people working on this game.

American Gangster is already available as well - nothing to do with the Wii obviously... but that's the scene for you 😀
