According to RockstarWatch, Amazon has sent out an email to those who have pre-ordered Max Payne 3 indicating that the publisher has changed the release date to December 1, 2011

Is that even the setting still? I haven't seen ANYthing on this game since they released those screenshots that were universally hated.

For a second I thought I missed a Max Payne game. What is the problem here? Some screenshots? Jesus they must be really bad to have people hating a series that consists of 2 very successful games.

I have to say though, these screenshots are different than what was shown over a year ago. But some of them could be flashbacks.

max payne 1 was great. 2, meh...

1 & 2 were way too short, way too linear and way too easy. I'd love is 3 was in an open world like Just Cause 2 or something. I suspect it'll be like 1 & 2 except in a jungle setting though.
