Rumor: Direct2Drive being sold to Gamefly

IGN is in the process of selling digital distributor Direct2Drive to US online rental firm Gamefly, MCV understands.

An official announcement isn't expected until next week, but sources have told us the deal is almost complete.

I really don't think Gamefly would have the kind of money to buy D2D... given the stink that Gamefly made about mailing cost differences from the USPS compared to the rate Netflix gets being equal to Gamefly's entire profit margin.
