heck, i wouldn't be surprised if there is no 5D replacement announced. what is in it for canon? even if sony announces a pro model A900 tomorrow, the 5D will still be in a class by itself.

until Nikon (hopefully) produces a full-frame D300x, probably sometime in 2009, once they catch up with demand for the D3's (and possibly a D3X's) full-frame sensors
