Let's say for the sake of argument that you are driving in broad daylight and there are no other vehicles within 10 miles of you. The road is dry and there are no obstructons on the road.
The speed limit is 55 MPH.
You come to a curve in the road that is marked with a yellow diamond shaped sign that says 45.
What is the speed limit through that curve?

Uhh, I think the speed limit is still 45. That being said, I wouldn't slow down for it. :p

The yellow signs showing speeds for turns and freeway off-ramps are advisories only, not the actual speed limit.

Only Black/White Speed Limit signs show the true speed limit, yellow/black signs only show reccomended speed limits, such as on ramps and around turns

so, the answer would be 55 :D
