I am in charge of our firewall here and can't seem to let AIM through
We have our basic Lan/Any DENY WAN/LAN DENY ruleset in place so everything is being rejected unless we explicitly let it through
I have tried letting port 5790 out for AIM only to login.oscar.aol.com and ail clients will connect, but won't go past that, failign to retrieve buddy lists and the like.
What rules should I use for wan to lan traffic? Should I stick to letting a port through only for these hsots or should I tell it to open that port to all connections? Does using the hosts (login.oscar.aol.com and messenger.hotmail.com) on those specific ports work for anyone?
Thanks
