Ruined my CD's... =(

couple of my cdr's got messed up cuz the top paint/logo thing peeled off. first time this happened to me. no way to fix it huh? does this happen a lot? any way to prevent it from happening to my others?

The solution to all of your problems is glue ;)

Seriously, there's not much you can about it, except making backups.

maybe my cd's just suck. my back ups will prolly get ruined as well

Get some Verbatims Azo Blue. The side you write on is kind of like sand paper at first, it's weird. They are VERY resistant and never peel...

There is something you can do... ALWAYS PUT A LABEL ON THE CD.. The label prevents the cheap crappy data side of the cd from screwing up.

I had the same exact thing happen to me a while ago...just had to throw the CD out, but that thought of putting a label on all your important CD's sounds like a good one. It seems a bit costly to do for all my cd's though, since sometimes the labels themselves cost as much as the cd's.

how much do labels cost? anyone know which cd's hold up the best and are cheap?

I had a problem with nashua and blank memorex cds doing the same thing. I'd say get some better cds.
