I was trying to attach the blue orb last night and i couldnt' get it on. then i realized after much defeat that there are special holes for the blorb pins. but since i kinda riuned them, i used the stock fan pins. problem is i don't think it's making great contact. should it be nice and tight or move a teeny bit? also can i order replacement pins? and where can i get them? any suggestions?

zip ties? liek wrap them around the card, through the holes? does that actually work well? i have the as2 epoxy but was not going to use it at first. as2 epoxy is removable right? once it sticks i have taken it off. right?

You can go through the HS holes and then through the mobo holes if you get zipties that are thin enough. People use them to attach their HSFs to their CPUs even!

If you already have the epoxy, go ahead and use that, but cut it with some regular AS2 so the bond isn't as strong. You really should lap the Blorb first though, the one I stuck on my old A7V133 wasn't even close to flat until I lapped it. It left blotches of AS2 on my Northbridge rather than a nice uniform layer.

Drywall screws.

Seriously, you can set up some sort of screw system and some motherboard washers.

lol ok i'll just use the epoxy, using more of one so it isn't as strong.

Note To Self: Pick up spme more rubbing Alchy. Nail polish remover jsut doesnt' do it as well.

So you are saying to sand the bottom first and make it a little even? is it good to granulate the bottom of the heatsink? i thought it should be smooth? but i guess not since i see everyone do it.

Superglue works great.

And it can "pop" off if you need to later, but will hold tight under high heat for as long as you need it.
