Plus Houston has the pitching depth starting AND bullpen especially!

That guy Stanek was their #5 bullpen arm and he was still nearly unhittable the other night!

I think I actually understood that.

Either way, it's looking like an truly awesome series.

I don't think the Phillies have much of a chance but I'll still be rooting for them.

They absolutely HAVE to win game one with Wheeler on the mound or it's going to be a very short World Series!

I'll be somewhat shocked if it's not a sweep.

Astros are the Patriots of MLB. Wonder how they are cheating this year.

Sorry but much as I dislike the Howston Asteroids there's no way in hell Dusty Baker would tolerate cheating on his team.

The only way this years Astro's are "cheating" would be having so many extremely talented players it's almost not fair.

Having said that, anyone recall the 1988 or 1990 series for examples when the "Bash-Brothers" Oakland A's were the overwhelming favorites to sweep the Dodgers and the Reds?

Orel Hershiser and Ramon Rojas would like a word! ;)

I feel ya -- it hurt. THAT year especially, after Harvey absolutely fucked the city and Houston needed a W. I think what's more upsetting is how pervasive cheating/sign-stealing actually is. I think there was a court ruling about it being 'part of the game' or some shit. Similar to soccer players flailing around like epileptics that walked past a rave.

If the runner on 2ed steals signs with his eyeballs that's part of the game.

Buzzers under the uniform, HD cameras in trash-cans and regularly "tipping" pitches to batters with audio-cues (among other things) not so much.

:(
