I am in need of advice for the best rugged tablet available. It will be used in an outdoor environment so hot/cold is an issue but it will not be exposed to rain. I need battery life of 8+ hours either through continuous runtime or hot swap replacements. I would prefer something smaller with a screen size of 5-7". Will need at least a 1GHZ processor and 1GB of ram and the ability to run .net apps. Price range is $1000 - $2500. Any advice you have would be great. Thank you!

I'm not sure how much these cost, but I found this website while browsing this morning. I'm sure it is overkill, but I thought I would post it anyway.

P.S. It looks like the screen is a little larger than you wanted also.
