Rugby

scrum tips:
don't hit the props' balls, bind on the waistband, stay as tight as possible, STAY LOW, and please do not kick the ball after it has been hooked.

lineouts:
props are supporters, not lifters...please jump; do not kick your legs forward, again injuring the props ball... catch the f'ing ball.

<--- played tight head for 5 years

edit: you played for a while, so you know most of this... concentrate on off-field stuff like muscle endurance and fitness...since the backs can't catch, games usually have 40 scrums. concentrate on your legs and lower back...find the latest issue of USA RUgby Magazine. it has a few pages dedicated to tight 5 training
