Well I'm sitting here eating these chips, they're Cheddar and Sour Cream... Fat Free, only 75 calories per ounce...

They actually taste good... wtf?

So am I missing something? There were those Olestra chips a while back that screwed with your stomach, and I have seen the wrath of Splenda (its fine, but too much and well, let's just say it messes with your stomach).

Anyone else tried em? They weren't even that overpriced.

whats splenda do to you?

Too much may make you pee brown out of the wrong side and ruin underwear. Oh, and the smelliest farts you ever did see. Even worse if you are already on atkins...

Splenda doesn't bother me or anyone I know in the least. Are you certain you're not thinking of the "low carb" sugar alcohols that are allowed on the Atkins type diet? They are kind of nasty like you describe.

Splenda is a Sugar Alcohol.

And you really need to put lots of it into your system before you get THAT kind of a result. I'm talking eating a crapload of ice cream with splena, drinking most of a 2 liter with splenda, etc etc etc. I got a little carried away.

But I lost 50 lbs so it was worth it.

IT'S STILL OLESTRA!!! BE CAREFUL!!!!

The FDA dropped its requirement for a warning label on packages of olestra-containing chips. The label had read, ?This product contains Olestra. Olestra may cause abdominal cramping and loose stools...."

Because of the bad press behind the "Wow!" line and the new FDA rule, Frito Lay decided to change the name and repackage the SAME PRODUCT!

I bought some because I thought they were a different product and there was a coupon in Sunday's paper.

Two handfuls of Ruffles later, and guess what???? :( :| :( :| :( :|

You might be thinking of Exlax Brownies, but you're close.
