If you're willing to spend the time, you can typically 'rip' any DRM protected audio file by capturing the stereo-out with a program such as audacity. Drawbacks to this approach (ethical not included):
*Need to play the audio track in realtime. An entire CD's worth of music is going to take you 60-70 minutes.
*Need to make sure that no other sounds play during that time period (IM notifications, "You've got mail", etc )
*Once done, have to chop the .wav file by hand (more difficult for an entire album than a single file)
*You're going to lose some audio quality.
