If Ohio Gov. John Kasich or Florida Sen. Marco Rubio wins the Republican presidential nomination by surprise in a brokered convention, which presidential ticket would be formidable? Kasich / Rubio, or Rubio / Kasich? Would Democrats fear these two?

Won't happen. It's either Trump or Cruz; the math says so.

What Kasich and Rubio can do though is make the choice between Trump or Cruz by pledging their delegates to one or the other. (Assuming neither gets to 1237 delegates on their own.)

I voted for Kasich so if he actually wins the primary (as opposed to being handed the nomination by the party elite) I'm honor bound to vote for him, but that isn't going to happen. And I could never vote for him if he picked Rubio OR Cruz as #2, even if he honestly won.

Why would you start this topic today of all days?

A thread on Nancy Reagan joining Dancing With The Stars would have been more credible

Since Rubio has suspended his campaign after his humiliating defeat in FL, none of the above, re: OP's post.
