Hello,
I have plan to upgrade some part.

My Current system,
Ryzen 5 2400G
Asrock AB350 Pro 4
Team elite 2x4Gb 3000Mhz
WDC HDD 1Tb Blue
ADATA SSD SU650 480GB SATA III
PC Power and Cooling S75CF 750W
LG 22MK400 - 1920x1080.

As you can see i dont have GPU, from mid 2018 until now i play game using 2400g only on 900p low-mid setting with ~30FPS. still OK from me.
Prev i have RX 480 but sold it to upgrade to Ryzen 5 System (My Old PC is Intel 2500K system).

In 2019, i have plan to purchase GPU. But also notice that Currently Only has 8Gb RAM. I dont really know 8gb is enough for gaming only.
For sure i can play on playable FPS some heavy game with my current system with 1Gb Shareable IGP on 2400G. So i only have arround 6-7gb
AC origin
AC odyssey
Metro Exodus
DMC V
Shadow of Tomb Raider
Apex Legend
and Now shadows die twice.

Recently i have 2 option,

1. Purchase RTX 2070 Only. Cheapest in my country.
PALIT GeForce RTX 2070 8GB DDR6 Dual ~ US$587 (with 3 years waranty.)
2. Purchase RTX 2060 + Additional 8gb (will be 4x4gb 3000mhz)
GALAX Geforce RTX 2060 6GB DDR6 (1-Click OC) - DUAL FAN ~ US$410 (with 2 years waranty.) , or
PALIT GeForce RTX 2060 6GB DDR6 GamingPro OC Series ~ US$424 (with 3 years waranty.)
+ Same RAM US$106.
3. Wait for NAVI ???

Any suggestion for those option?

- Used for : Gaming Only on 1080p
- Country : Indonesia
- brand preference : None
- overclocking : None, default only
- WHEN do you plan to build it? : Mid 2019 or late 2019 (< IF WORTHED TO WAIT NAVI GPU).

Adding comment:
i believe the biggest Performance boost is grab RTX 2070 but it is OK to still have 8Gb Ram?

At this point I would upgrade your memory to 16GB and then starting to look at dGPUs. AMD's Rx570/Rx580 with 8GB of VRAM should be available at a much lower cost then the RTX 2060. Come to think of, you can buy both the AMD card and memory upgrade cheaper then what the 2060 and 2070 are priced at.

I would get the 16GB of memory now, then possibly wait for Navi and make a decision. Either a new Navi card, a cheap RX 580, or a 2060 would all be decent cards at that point. Note that currently the 2070 is rather overpriced compared to the 2060.

IMHO,. you don't want to fill four slots on a Ryzen mobo with 4x4GB. Get 2x8GB, or even 1x16GB.

Hi, Many thanks for feedback.

I think i will pass rx 580 / rx 570, due to 15% than my prev rx480. also almost same gen. cmiiw.

why or even navi its due to latest gpu genes. and using newest feature. the most interisting is wattage usage and temp (thats why it's not input vega 56).

i want to search for gpu with most power i can get with my current budget. but also has price performance.

I agree with shmee, 2070 overprice compares to 2060. I think I will upgrade my Ram first to 16gb. and them wait Navi, Rumor say has same price 2060 but has power 2070 and 7nm.
